Cairo violence: What is going on in Egypt?

Wednesday August 14th saw a massive army operation against at least two protest camps set up in Cairo, Egypt, in support of ousted president Mohammed Morsi. Several people including civilians, security forces and journalists were killed in the violent clashes that accompanied the assault on the camps.
